Polish Heritage Society UK are delighted to announce that it is launching The Institute of Polish Military History (IPMH) this academic year.
The Institute will run a series of military history lectures in English on the Zoom platform.The lectures will be presented by Professors and experts in their field. Our lecturers have been chosen for their academic excellence and in the first year we are pleased to say that they are:
Professor Norman Davies, Professor Andrzej Nowak, Professor Antony Polonsky,
Dr Halik Kochanski, Dr Dermot Turing, Dr Paul Latawski, Dr Andrzej Suchcitz,
Mr Roger Moorhouse and Mr Jarek Garliński, who is also the IPMH Dean of Faculty.
The first two Inaugural lectures are free of charge :–
‘The Battle of Warsaw 1920: 100 Years’ by Professor Norman Davies and
‘An Introduction to Poland’s Security Dilemmas’ by Professor Andrzej Nowak,
The 2020/2021 Lecture Series of the Institute of Polish Military History will offer 10 lectures of between 45-60 minutes each over the course of two terms. There will be an opportunity to submit written questions at the end of each lecture. Subsequent to the two free Inaugural Lectures, the balance of 8 lectures will be charged at a rate of £9.21 each.
Every participant must have a good internet connection and simply needs to click on the link provided.
