I am very pleased to say that the latest issue of the BJMH has just been published and is available at: http://bjmh.gold.ac.uk/issue/view/105. This is a special issue on 'Transforming War, 1914-18'. It has been edited by William Philpott.
We had expected to publish one more issue in 2019, but given that we only took over earlier this year with almost nothing ready for publication, we have decided to make it just two issues in 2019 to give us more flexibility on the running order in 2020 when we expect to publish 'ordinary' issues in March and November, and a special in July.
As regards articles, although we are now getting a steady flow of work submitted, it is noticeable that very few pieces are coming in from female scholars. This is strange given that the gender profile of those entering the discipline and related fields seems to be more balanced than it once was. We'd be really grateful if you could flag the journal to any promising researcher, but make a special point to female researchers that we are really keen to publish issues which are representative of those working in the field.
You can download the individual articles or the complete issue as pdfs.
Thanks to Richard Grayson, William Philpott and everyone in the team!
