The conference’s theme is the evolution, or otherwise, of the theory and practice of operational art at the operational level of warfare. The BCMH welcomes proposals for papers from a broad audience, including members, academics, practitioners, and new researchers, that examine the concepts of operational art and the operational level from new perspectives and methodologies, without restriction to historical period or region, The call for papers has been issued and details can be found here – https://www.bcmh.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/20251204-BCMH-Whither-Operational-Art-CFP-20-Jun-26.pdf
