Helion and Company are proud to announce a Century of the Soldier conference dedicated the British Civil Wars and how they were fought. The conference is being held jointly with University Centre Shrewsbury and is being generously supported by the Pike and Shot Society and the British Commission for Military History.
Working in partnership with University Centre Shrewsbury, this year's conference has a wide range of papers covering a variety of topics. Dedicated to the impact of the Scottish invasions of 1648 and 1651, the conference will study the conflict as it spreads across the country.
We shall also be launching new titles on the day with special offers.
Drinks will be available throughout the day and a buffet lunch will be provided.
Receipt confirmations will be issued via email, not by Royal Mail. Once you have paid and received your confirmation, you do not need, so will not be issued with, a printed ticket. Please ensure you have added Helion to your address book to ensure your receipt confirmation will not go in to your Spam folder.
Lots of ticketed car parking will be available on the day.
A range of speakers has already been booked and you will find more information in the event pdf, which you can download below.
