Instituted by member Alan Rooney, those of you who are local to Salisbury may be interested in the Society's monthly programme.

The Salisbury Military History Society (SMHS) is a local community initiative for Salisbury and its environs that provides a forum for those with a passion for, or just a passing interest in, military history to meet once a month to listen to talks by leading historians, share a glass of wine or cup of coffee and meet like-minded people with whom they can discuss latest publications, share research and build new friendships. The SMHS meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at St John Place.
