Virgilio Ilari has written from Italy to tell us about the interdisciplinary journal of the Italian Society of Military History (SISM), entitled Nuova Antologia Militare (NAM), a peer review and open access journal (www.nam-sism.org ; see board here: https://www.nam-sism.org/1.3%20direzione.html ).

The SISM, founded in 1984 by Raimondo Luraghi, is fully self-financed by its 450 members, and since 2010 we have started sharing our annual volumes online (Quaderni Sism: see https://www.nam-sism.org/4.1%20quaderni.html ). Furthermore, from last month we started the publication of NAM (see https://www.nam-sism.org/3.2%20%20fascicoli.html  ); just in time to be able to continue and increase our work during the quarantine and the foreseeable future recession. More articles are coming in the next months. We publish articles in Italian, English, French and Spanish with abstracts in English.

Yours Sincerely,

Virgilio Ilari,

President of SISM and Director of NAM.
